Library Foundation

The Marin County Library Foundation raises money to improve facilities, services, and resources throughout the system. Learn more about the Library Foundation here.

Friends Groups

Marin County Free Library is fortunate to have the support of a network of Friends organizations. Our Friends are volunteers who create awareness and appreciation of library services in the community and provide monetary support for programs and materials.

You may choose to become a member of the County Friends, in which case your contribution will be shared with all ten branches of the Marin County Free Library. Or, if you prefer, you can become a member of a branch Friends group where your contribution will be used to support activities within your designated branch.

Please contact your branch to find out how you might become involved in the important work the Friends are doing.  Each branch will have local membership forms available.
