REAL "reality" love stories?  Try StoryCorps latest book, new this month, All There Is.  These are vignettes from the StoryCorps oral history collection, including funny, touching, romantic, insightful and wrenching stories of love and committment.... a true treasure for any valentine.

StoryCorps has been collecting oral histories across the US, cataloging 40,000 stories since 2003 stored in the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress.  You may have heard their stories on NPR, but you can also listen to more online at their website, or even better, participate yourself by recording your own story at the StoryCorps Regional Center in San Francisco.

Enjoy an animated short of one of these stories at the bottom of this post.  And remember that we have our own oral history location at the Anne T. Kent California Room!
