Bonny is the branch manager of the Bolinas, Inverness, Point Reyes and Stinson Beach libraries.
This is an official blog for the Marin County Free Library.

The crabapple tree and the Ceanothus Julia Phelps are now blooming in the garden at the Inverness Library. It's almost wildflower season when people from all over the County venture out to West Marin to enjoy the blooms along our local paths and trails. If this will be your first visit, you should stop at the library first - we have many trail guides (and a local wildflower expert at the desk) to help you along the way. Last year, wildflower and California Native Plant experts Wilma and Bill Follette packed the house at the Inverness Library with a great slideshow and lecture about our local wildflowers and we're now in the planning stages for this year's wildflower celebration with Charlotte Torgovitsky, also of the California Native Plant Society. Charlotte is involved with the establishment of a small California Native Plant Society Nursery which I'm sure she'll tell us all about. Watch our website for more details about this exciting upcoming program.
