Jasper Johns: Seeing with the Mind’s Eye will be exhibited at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art through February 3, 2013.  Some 90 paintings, sculptures, drawings, and prints spanning his career are on display. Jasper Johns has been recognized as a major artist since his first show in New York City in 1958 when his simple, stark paintings of everyday objects astounded the public. This is his first Bay Area museum survey in 35 years.
