There's a new way to explore the rich literary history of our region:  the Chronicle's Bay Area Literary Map.  Let your fingers do the clicking through this new interactive, informative offering, which showcases literary places, passages, booksellers, local authors and more. 

An added benefit is the interleaving of Litquake events, taking place now through October 19.

Ever wonder where Dashiell Hammett lived in San Francisco?  Or where Ken Kesey hung out on the peninsula?  Did you realize that Philip K. Dick lived in Berkeley?  Trace the steps they took through the links on the interactive map.
