Hey Amanda, Wondering what

Hey Amanda,

Wondering what the correct process is to get Lynda.com to work on an Iphone.  There seems to be a lot of confusion on how to get this to work if you have any further instructions to smooth out the process.

Steps we've done so far,

1) Download Lynda app from Itunes
2) Access Marin Library app and goto online training section
3) Click on Lynda section that then asks for login and redirects to mobile website
4) Open Lynda app and try to login

This is where it's not working since the mobile site will not play the videos and the app will not authenticate Marin Library

So far we have entered a number of variations into the Web Portal Access section but here is the base:

Also entered my library number and pin into the Log In section as well to tie the two together.

I imagine that I must be missing a piece somewhere, but wondering if you could help correct any issues you see so we can login on our mobile devices.

Thanks for your help and clarfying the processl

Lynda.com App

Hi Brant,

The Library's Lynda.com subscription is not compatabile with the Lynda.com app.

Sorry for the confusion,

Amanda

How do I access the services on Lynda.com?

I have found the login page, but it does not give me the option of creating a login, it is just asking me to login assuming that the user is "county of marin".

How do I create a unique username/password so that I can access this website?

How Do I Access the Services on Lynda.com?

Hi!

Sorry for the confusion. Your login and password are the same as your library barcode and PIN.

Everything you need to know about library cards is available here: http://www.marinlibrary.org/using-the-library/library-cards.

Thanks!

Dianna,

Thank you! I am glad you are interested in the service.

There is no schedule or time limit for use. All of the videos are self-paced, online learning video programs.
