Eller Akers

Janet Jennings is the author of Traces in Water. The poem "Room With Girl", from that collection, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Her work has appeared in Agni, Nimrod, Spillway, Shenandoah, and TriQuarterly, among others.

A Marin resident since 1986, Janet has lived on a houseboat in Sausalito, in the hills of Mill Valley, by the beach in Bolinas, and now resides in San Anselmo, where she lives with her husband and twin daughters. For twenty years she owned and ran Sunspire Natural Foods. She sold her business in order to slow down and spend more time reading and writing poetry.
