Inspired by a post about a West Marin Librarian's adorable cat Chili, I wanted to share a bit about my dog Stanley.

Stanley the Dog

Age: Two
Breed: Puggle (Pug and Beagle)
Nicknames: Stan the Man, Stanley the Manley
Favorite Food: Frozen peanut butter in a Kong toy
Favorite Movie: Wall-E. He thinks the dialogue between Wall-E and Eve is fascinating.
Favorite Things to Do: Tracking scents, long walks, meeting new dog friends, and napping.
What He Wants to Be When He Grows Up: A SHARE a Book dog at the library! He is half way to certification at the Marin Humane Society. For more information about how your child can build literacy skills by reading to a SHARE dog at the Corte Madera Library, visit this page.
If Stanley Wrote a Book, What Would It Be About? The time he broke into a neighboring dog's house. His friend Satchmo has a special electronic doggie door that only opens when he approaches it. Stanley was visiting one day, snuck up behind his friend, and ran into the house when Satchmo's collar set off the doggie door. He tore across the house, stole one of Satchmo's squeaky toys, while his person squeezed through the dogie door and chased after him. It would be called Stanley the Dog Burglar.
