Peeped into any good books recently?
In honor of National Library Week let your imagination run to Peeps!
Enter the Civic Center Library First Annual Peeps Diorama Contest.

Create a diorama depicting your favorite book or story using marshmallow Peeps.

Things to understand before entering the contest:

* Diorama display must be based on a book or have a literature theme.
* Diorama parts should all fit inside a box the size of shoe box.
* All visible parts of the diorama should be decorated.
                                                      * All characters in your scene should be made using Peeps.

Dioramas and entry forms need to be submitted between April 4 and April 14. Drop them off at the Library Reference Desk. The dioramas will then be on display for one week in the library during which time library patron voting will determine The Peeple’s Choice Award on April 21. All winners will be announced on April 21. Entries will be judged on originality and overall quality.

Contest rules and entry forms are available at the Library or by clicking here.

The Civic Center Library will be holding a peeps diorama craft on Thursday April 12 at 3 pm.  We will supply a box, glue, felt, fabric, and peeps.  You will need to supply any other materials you want to include in your diorama.
