The Marin County Free Library has just the database you need.  From the library home page, click on the Research & Learning link in the blue bar toward the top of the page.  Scroll down to Databases:  A-Z List of Databases, and halfway down the page you’ll find the Legal Information Reference Center.

You can browse the database by categories (Rights & Disputes, Wills & Estate Planning, etc.) and you can also download popular legal forms.  A highlight of the database is its collection of Nolo Press self-help legal guides.  You’ll find them at the bottom of the page.   If you see a title you’d like to read, click on it, and you can read it in your browser.  Take a look.
