Corte Madera’s Teen Summer Reading program got off to a sweet start today with our candy sushi program.  We used Rice Krispie treats as our delicious sushi foundation, rolled around brilliantly colored gummy worms and topped with tasty Swedish fish.  We tried using orange sprinkles to mimic the tiny orange flying fish roe, and green fruit rolls as our toasted seaweed wrappers.   We had prizes for most original and most realistic, as well as for those who could answer the most trivia about candy, and sushi.  Thanks to all who attended!  Check out the pics on Flickr:
