One of the best ways to keep educational momentum going through months of learning at home is to encourage a daily practice of pleasurable reading. Fortunately, May 4-10 is Children’s Book Week, an annual celebration of promoting books and the joy of reading for young people. The program is administered by the Every Child a Reader literacy nonprofit and Children’s Book Council is the lead sponsor.
