The MCFL teen-produced magazine, The Spire, is back with a third issue! The Teen Leadership Crew has been hard at work gathering submissions, organizing the layout and writing pieces for this issue and it has been a lot of fun watching this group effort come together.

Dear Young People,
This is an invitation for you to explore the 3rd edition of the Spire magazine. Created by Marin County Teens! Being a teenager is like having a superpower when it comes to creativity. You're experiencing everything with fresh eyes, feeling emotions deeply, and questioning the world around you. These aren't just typical "teen things" – they're the perfect ingredients for creating authentic, powerful art.
We are so grateful to all the teen artist, writers and editors for sharing their work and time to make this publication possible.
Have you ever felt that spark of creativity but weren't sure how to let it shine? Maybe you've filled countless notebooks with poetry, doodled during every class, or dreamed up stories while staring at the ceiling. Here's the thing: that creative energy inside you? It's pure gold, and it's time to let it out.
We are currently working on the 4th edition and hope to have it printed and available in the Spring! So please consider becoming part of our creative community!
Submit your work to our next issue by emailing annemarie.russo@marincounty.gov. Collaborate with other young artists. Attend our monthly workshops. Your voice belongs here. Because here's the truth: the world needs your creativity. It needs your fresh perspective, your raw emotions, your bold ideas. So grab that pen, paintbrush, camera, or whatever calls to you – and create. Are you ready to share your voice with us?
