Friends of the Library

About the Friends

Marin County Free Library is fortunate to have the support of a network of Friends organizations. Our Friends are volunteers who create awareness and appreciation of library services in the community and provide monetary support for programs and materials.

You may choose to become a member of the County Friends, in which case your contribution will be shared with all ten branches of the Marin County Free Library. Or, if you prefer, you can become a member of a branch Friends group where your contribution will be used to support activities within your designated branch.

To find out more about how you might become involved in the important work the Friends are doing, please visit the Friends website, opens a new window or contact your local library. Each branch will have local membership forms available.
