The Anne T. Kent Map & Special Collections Annex is open to the public on Thursdays, 1:00pm - 5:00pm.
Our collection includes unrecorded surveys of Marin County properties performed by J.C. Oglesby, Richardson, Dodge, Voorhies, Engineering Field Services, Joe Grippi, and more. Many are available to view online: Anne T. Kent Digital Collections, opens a new window.
To request scans (.jpg) of materials in our collections, please email californiaroom@marincounty.gov. In your request, include the surveyor's name and the plat number [e.g. JCO nnnnn = JC Oglesby plat 01234], and/or Folder/Field Book number. Research requests will generally be fulfilled on Thursdays. Please note that we are unable to scan large format maps on demand.
Complex research projects and large volume scanning requests may require an in-person visit.
