Join us for the thirty-sixth annual Marin Senior Fair! This year's theme is “Flower Power: Where Peace and Wisdom Flourish! Visit the Marin County Free Library (MCFL) at booth 110. We will be giving away free books, sharing program and service information, and spreading some library joy. This year's fair promises to be an event to be remembered with 140 exhibit booths presenting important resources and information for seniors, caregivers, and anyone interested.
Who can attend?
Anyone! The fair is free to anyone who would like to go. While it is primarily aimed at seniors, The Senior Fair is beneficial to caregivers and families as well. It will be a great opportunity for retirees, and those planning retirement, to explore options for the future that include planning and active living.
What will the exhibits offer?
From the 140 exhibits, there will be a wide array of offerings. There will be resources, activities, lifestyle information, and more for seniors, caregivers, and families. Agencies, companies, and individuals will have booths to promote their products and services to attendees. Along with the booths, there will be safety education, limited flu shots, live entertainment, arts & crafts, quilts, dancing, prizes, and more.

How do I get there?
The Senior Fair is held at the Marin Center Exhibit Hall, 10 Avenue of the Flags, San Rafael. There will be free parking behind the Marin Veterans’ Memorial Auditorium, following the signage. Free round-trip transportation will be provided by Vivalon from downtown San Rafael. Shuttles will run approximately every 30 minutes during the event from 930 Tamalpais Ave. San Rafael to the fair. The first shuttle will leave at 8:30 am and the last will depart at 3:15 pm from the fair.
What does the library offer for seniors?
The Marin County Free Library offers numerous resources for older adults and caregivers. We have book lists on Computing for Seniors, Gardening and Outdoor Exploration for Seniors, and many more topics. Search our catalog from our main website to find more! We also have an events page to explore along with movies, TV, & streaming services. As always, please reach out to your local branch to find more and we hope to see you at the Senior Fair.
