From the Branch Manager: Community Library Specialist Kerry Livingston and I welcome you to the Stinson Beach Library, right in the heart of this coastal community. Kerry’s service to the people of Stinson Beach spans 25 years so she’s able to welcome almost everyone by name, residents and summer visitors alike. In addition to our collection of books, DVDs and audios, the Stinson Beach Library is home to the Stinson Beach Historical Society and also features a well-used community art exhibit space, the James Grant Art Wall. Stop by the Stinson Beach Library to see just how friendly our community libraries can be!
Be sure to come check out the amazing art show featuring works from Stinson Beach & Bolinas students (K through 8th grade) in the Library through May; it includes metal works, clay pieces, and fine arts (painting & drawing).
The Alcatraz Florilegium is a project of botanical paintings by Bay Area artists of plants in the gardens of Alcatraz. Twenty-eight of the 59 plants that have been painted will be on view at the Stinson Beach Library through March 24, 2015.
