Join Us at the Marin County Fair!

The annual Marin County Fair is back this Summer from July 2-6!

Marin County Free Library will be at the Fair, with our Learning Bus and Bookmobile, alongside the Bay Area Discovery Museum's Try It Truck! You can find us between the Giant Ferris Wheel and the Carousel. We hope to see you there!

Bookmobile: Stocked with a large collection of books for adults, children’s books for every level of reader, books on CD, DVDs, and a large Spanish collection for children and adults alike. Need a library card? Need a quiet place to browse or read? Come visit us at the County Fair!

Learning Bus: Self-guided play & learn space, including sensory activities and manipulatives, geared towards children 0-5 and their families. The Learning Bus will be open for families and children to come in and explore.

Street Lab Pop-up Library: People of all ages and abilities can gather, read, and relax, right in the midst of the Marin County Fair.

Webstars: Learn more about Webstars, and check out the portable 3D printer. For those who prefer their fun analog, join in a game of Giant Jenga, Cornhole, or Giant Connect Four.

Try It Truck: The Bay Area Discovery Museum’s engineering lab on wheels brings hands-on STEAM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Art-Math) programming geared towards children (PreK – 5th Grade) and their families.

Library Card Design Station: Show off your creativity and design the next MCFL library card! Open to all ages. Entries close July 6 at 8pm. Learn more about the Library Card Design Contest.

Pollinator Pals: Learn about the pollinators of Mount Tam through interactive games and an exhibit led by Marin Municipal Water District Intern. (Wednesday July 2 & Friday July 4 only)
