What’s a Loot Box?
Think of it as your personalized book subscription box curated by librarians who know good books. When you sign up, you'll receive a box with handpicked books tailored to your reading preferences, plus a few surprise wellness goodies to make your reading experience even better.
How Does It Work?
- Visit participating libraries (Civic Center & Novato) and head to the teen section to grab a Loot Box application. For teens 12-18. *
- Fill it out with your interests and return it to the front desk.
- A librarian will reach out when your box is ready for pickup.
- Enjoy your books and keep the wellness items, they are yours!
- When you’re finished reading, return the books (and the box, if possible) to the library.
- Loved the experience? Sign up again, spread the word, and keep the bookish loot box magic going!
