The Anne T. Kent California Room is an archive dedicated to collecting, preserving and interpreting the history and culture of Marin County.

Please contact us for research assistance, donation inquiries, and other local history and genealogy questions. Appointments are not necessary but helpful as some of our materials are off site and require 24-48 hours' notice to retrieve.
Our Survey Map & Special Collections Annex contains our vast unrecorded maps and surveys collection and is open to the public on Thursdays 1-5pm. The Survey Map & Special Collections Annex also houses more original materials related to local and regional history.
