Teen Summer Craft Kit 2: Beginner Embroidery

Bored? Looking for something fun to do this summer? Come grab a craft kit from the library, while supplies last!  Just stop in and ask your librarian to hook you up!

Beginner Embroidery

Modern hand embroidery, as opposed to cross-stitching, is characterized by a more "liberal" approach, where stitches are more freely combined in unconventional ways to create various textures and designs. There's really no wrong way to embroider! Grab your needle & thread and start sewing! Design your own pattern, find one online, or use the one provided if you're feeling stuck!

Kit includes:

  • 1 hoop
  • 1 fabric square
  • 1 needle
  • 2 skeins thread
  • 1 pattern
