- Welcome to the Fairfax Library.
- Features wi-fi access, comfortable chairs for reading, studying or meeting your neighbor.
- Free Internet tutoring, book clubs, weekly storytimes as well as a variety of programs for all ages.
- Large, up-to-date collection of books, books on CD, large-type books, DVDs, music CDs magazines and newspapers.
- Spanish language materials for children, teens and adults. Spanish-speaking staff sometimes available.
Computers & Wi-Fi
- 8 public computers for adults & teens
- 1 public computer for children
- 2 self check out stations
- 1 ADA workstation
- Computer reservations are recommended. Reservations can only be made online from school, work, home or at the branch.
- Wi-fi access is available throughout the branch.
- Laptop users can print at the library by using our new printing system. To connect to our printing system, download the print client from our website. Check with library staff for more information.

Accessibility
- Handicapped parking spaces available.
- Accessible self-check machines and book return.

Meeting Room/ Study Space
- Fairfax Library has a public meeting room available to local community groups. Please contact our meeting room coordinator regarding reservation procedures and fees.
- Individual study carrels and tables are available. Tutors should refer to our Tutor policy.
Gallery Space
- Meeting Room artwork displays rotate on a monthly basis. Please call the library to inquire about a display.
Donating Books & Materials
- We accept small quantities of donations at the branch (due to limited storage space).
- Larger donations can be taken to the bookstore run by the Friends – Book Place.
- Books should be in good condition. We also accept DVDs, videos, CDs and magazines.
- We do not accept textbooks. (The Friends do not accept textbooks or magazines).
- Donated items are usually sold at the branch or at the Friends bookstore.

Welcome to the Fairfax Library! I am excited to be a member of this community, and part of our fantastic staff delivering excellent and dynamic customer service to every visitor. Our branch features a monthly art exhibit, comfortable seating inside or on the deck, and a beautiful memorial garden out back. Thanks to the support of our Friends of the Library we have new carpeting and a well-used Teen area.
