Library Welcomes Feedback in New Survey

Share thoughts and ideas online and attend upcoming events

San Rafael, CA – A note to generous Marin County residents who are in gift-giving mode this holiday season: The Marin County Free Library (MCFL) has community feedback on its wish list.

MCFL Director Lana Adlawan and her staff are eager to hear from patrons about which library services are most important to visitors and what improvements should be considered. To gather the feedback, MCFL has launched a wide-reaching community engagement program and is asking residents to share thoughts via an online survey through mid-January 2022. The survey is available in English and Spanish and will only take about 3 minutes to complete.

“This is a wonderful time for the library to assess what we’ve done well and where we need to head in the future,” Adlawan said. “We’d like to know what services and materials are essential in supporting the joy of lifelong learning in our community.”

Along with the survey, MCFL is planning “meet the director” events and library branch community chats between January and June 2022 so patrons can connect with branch staffs about services in a particular community. Those opportunities will be promoted on the MCFL website, its Facebook page, opens a new window, and its Twitter account, opens a new window.
