As we educate our children to have empathy, be open to other perspectives, and treat all people with respect, this month offers families an opportunity to celebrate the beauty and importance of Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) cultures. We take this step to work together to build an inclusive community where all people are valued.
The Marin County Free Library stands in solidarity with AAPI communities. A resolution, opens a new window was passed on April 13 by the Marin County Board of Supervisors condemning and combating racism, xenophobia, and intolerance against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
