LGBTQIAP+ Artists! Call for Submissions!

Are you a queer, trans, lesbian, gay, bi, pan, aro, ace, nonbinary, intersex, or two-spirit artist who works in 2D media? Would you like to show your work?

The Corte Madera Library is presenting an art exhibit for Pride 2022 in our public gallery space, and you are invited to submit samples of your art for consideration!

The nitty gritty:

  • Submission deadline (extended!): May 12
  • Exhibit Dates: May 27 - July 1
  • Artist ages: 14 and up
  • Artwork requirements:
    • Ready to hang/wire at back
    • 2D only
    • Appropriate for the general public
  • The library can't have prices on the artwork.
  • The library is not responsible for loss or damage to the artwork. There is no insurance provided for any artwork on display at Corte Madera Library.

Interested? Please email astanescu@marincounty.org with a few images of the art you would like to be exhibited, and include a few sentences about yourself, your art, and why you would like to participate in the show.

*Artwork is accepted for display at the discretion of library staff. Exhibit space is limited - depending on the volume of submissions, we might not be able to include all pieces submitted for consideration.
