2021 Youth Media Awards

In all the turmoil of 2020, one bright spot was the abundance of exceptional children's literature published in the United States. It has been thrilling to witness the release of many engaging stories, particularly from underrepresented author communities.

On January 25, 2021, the American Library Association (ALA) presented the annual Youth Media Awards for the top books, digital media, video, and audiobooks for children and young adults at the Midwinter Virtual Meeting in Chicago.
